Our Accountants have been practising for over 20 years (see our About Us Page), however Black Country Accounting Solutions is a newly branded business designed to purposely promote our services to the areas of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton and in doing so we can then offer reduced rates.
Yes and No. Of course we offer core services such as producing tax returns and running payrolls, however we feel we differ in our entrepreneurial spirit, in that our company leaders have a wide range of other business skills and experiences outside of accountancy. This enables us to offer impartial insights into your business stemming from financial observations. So for example, if we notice you are using software for something that we feel can be bettered, we'll mention it. If we notice you're paying more for your insurance than ideal, we'll mention it. If we know someone who needs your service, we'll put them in touch with you. We don't sit around indiscriminately churning out accounts and tax returns. We attempt to add extra value in all instances, because we see clients as friends and allies. This is how we do business.
We have a lot of technology expertise which not only helps us to deliver an efficient service, but is also of paramount importance in this day and age of digital reporting, RTI filing and data protection. An accountant without IT skills is tantermount to a golfer playing against Tiger Woods & Co with hickory shaft clubs, in our opinion.
Many businesses and individuals state "I want to find an accounatnt near me". And we agree, it is far more beneficial to both parties to have that locality. As such we concentrate on clients in the Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall & Wolverhampton areas. This means we can jump in the car and see them and vice versa, whenever required. In this day and age of technology, it is easy to remain remote and office based and communicate via email or video conference. But we like to be there for our clients and still see them. This helps relationships and friendships and we're all for that. And sometimes, in person conversations can achieve more and don't always have to be too formal. To achieve this, we offer reduced rates to our local clients, because they're our preferred client profile.
We don't exchange Christmas Cards with them.

Yes. We are very transparent about our prices and these are openly advertised on our site. We note a lot of accountants don't do this. We do it with confidence.

Accountants and clients should have a good relationship and a client should be happy with the level of service and fees they pay.
If this is not the case, then it really is a good idea to consider a change. In terms of the practicalities of doing so, the accounting profession should, by it's ethics, pass all information on to the next accountant. This allows for a continuation without undue upheaval. We manage this process for you and allow the change to be seamless.
Yes we can.
We are an IT savvy practice and MTD is something we are embracing not as a means to add more fees to our clients, but to increase efficiency of the financial function. This is the stated aim of MTD and we are fully on board with this.

Our free consultation involves us coming to see you and having an initial and informal discussion about your needs and expectations. This tends to be around an hour in duration and is a good way to get a feel for each other we find. This is not a sales call, this is a consultation and we attempt to give you some proactive advice at this meeting.
